Gus Chiggins

Copper Ale

Brewed for the old prospector in all of us. Simply put, just a pint of goodness. Somewhere between an English bitter and American Amber lives Copper Ale and for our money this one is quintessential Fall Session Beer. Mug of old Gus, some cool Autumn air, the changing falling leaves and you're there. Aroma: hazelnuts, sweet caramel, almost a little post supper liqueur vibe. Taste: touch of grapefruit and orange peel slipping into melted caramel and breaking clean but sweet into toasty malty crust with echoes of raisin and molasses.
