There’s a difference between making beer and crafting it. A philosophy which @barriquebrewing lives by, where every batch feels deliberate, expressive, and alive. Together, we set out to build a beer that reflects that same care — something bright yet deep, modern yet timeless. An opportunity for which we are extremely grateful.
Drifting between worlds...a NZ-inspired West Coast DIPA that opens with a burst of mango nectar, sun-ripened peach, and candied guava that eases into a zesty glow of sweet orange, pine resin, and lime leaf. The body is silky and lean, finishing crisp and dry yet saturated inviting you to keep discovering more with every sip. It fades in layers of fruit and resin, brightness and depth, a balance of refreshment and reflection.
The name Subtropic Fade captures that fleeting moment when tropical light softens into haze — the resin edge fading into fruit. It’s both a sensory description of the beer and a metaphor for what collaboration can create: two approaches blending, then blurring, into something new.
